How Botox Works

Typically Botox is injected through the skin less than 1cm below the surface of the skin. Results can be seen immediately, and swelling will occur around the area of injection.

These Botox shots, as they are some times called, can be administered within a couple of minutes, and can be applied by any trained professional. In fact in the US, so called Botox parties are not unknown where people inject their friends.

How Long Botox Works

Typically a botox injection treatment will last 3 – 4 months. Results can vary depending on how severe the case is, the size of the area to be treated and the length of exposure to Botox in the past.
